- New York City's law banning New York City employers from discriminating against applicants and employees based on their height or weight (Intro. 209-A) became effective on November 22, 2023.
- Effective February 6, 2024, under SB 7, all private employers in Texas will be prohibited from imposing or enforcing COVID-19 vaccine mandates as a condition of employment. While the practical impact of this new law may be limited, employers should still take note. For details, see our blog here.
